Don't feel much better today. Did quite a bit of contacts today. It surely was hot! I'm looking forward to my trip to the Ozarks this coming Saturday, even though it is only for a day. There's quite nothing like those hills. I find a comfort in realizing how they have always been. Since folks have settled there it's been an area of not only beauty, but a place where living was tough and day to day. Nothing like the big cities of now. Folks grew or shot everything they ate. Worked toward the changing of the seasons. Prepared for everything. Then enjoyed the times when they could spend an evening with family or friends and listen to the ringing of the banjo and fiddle through the hollers. I love the streams, the flowers, the air, the rains and yes even the humidity! Looking forward to it all!!
