I snapped a picture of our black lab. I was trying to catch her with her ears up. In this pic, they're about half way. She's got the most beautiful coat you've ever seen, you can tell that in the picture. She's also a smilin' dog. She's 6 1/2 years old and not had pups. We've been wanting to breed her before she's too old but just haven't found the right man dog. I need a taker that's got the papers with a pedigree to prove it. She does. I wouldn't want her to date anyone I didn't like.

Dinner

I'm gettin' purty board round here as I've resorted to postin' words about whut I'm uh cookin! I cruised by Whole Foods this evening and picked up a salmon steak and a half pound of monkfish. I'm adding some blackening seasoning to the salmon steak (it's wild salmon like steelhead or something like it) and i'm sauteing the monkfish with some olive oil and herbs. I've also got some portobella mushrooms I'll put together with some onion and olive oil. I'm bachen tonight, so I'm uh eatin' right! That's it fer now cuz it's time to fix the chow! Man this was stupid...

I wanted to add this picture to the site just because I think that it has so much to say. What splendor. To me, it reflects the Lords creation and the hand he has in our everyday lives. This is obviously a north Texas sunset on a Sunday in January. I've been many places, but I would say that the sunsets here are some of the most beautiful anywhere.

Self Centered Smokers

Here's a pretty good representation of what Sherman/Denison Texas looks like. What do you see? A Skoal can, cigarette butts, an old Dr. Pepper cup, gum... But the biggest problem here seems to be old cigarettes. Do you ever notice people who are either driving or walking into a store or a restaurant throw down their lit cigarettes? Where do you think they believe that the butts will end up? Do they beleive it's organic material that will go back into mother earth? It will harmlessly desentigrate back into the atmosphere? Maybe they think that there are people assigned to doing nothing but cleaning up their nastiness on every sidewalk and street corner. What a bunch of idiots! This stuff is made of fiberglass. It takes something like 150 years for it to decay! I have to think that the class of people who participate in this littering don't think and don't really care about our enviornment. It really ticks me off.
