ACE

Feeling a little better today. Loved the rain! I showed my bike to someone today. I'm hoping to sell it. It's a 98 Honda VT1100 ACE (American Classic Edition). It was the bike that Harley sued Honda over back in the late 90's. Harley lost! It's pretty much a rare motorcycle. Yellow/Pearl with lots of chrome! It's got a pretty good lope to it, and the looks alone turn heads. I really don't want to sell it, but you got to do what you have to. It would be a blessing to get rid of it soon.

Don't feel much better today. Did quite a bit of contacts today. It surely was hot! I'm looking forward to my trip to the Ozarks this coming Saturday, even though it is only for a day. There's quite nothing like those hills. I find a comfort in realizing how they have always been. Since folks have settled there it's been an area of not only beauty, but a place where living was tough and day to day. Nothing like the big cities of now. Folks grew or shot everything they ate. Worked toward the changing of the seasons. Prepared for everything. Then enjoyed the times when they could spend an evening with family or friends and listen to the ringing of the banjo and fiddle through the hollers. I love the streams, the flowers, the air, the rains and yes even the humidity! Looking forward to it all!!

Yesterday. The first day of summer. It felt that way, as I started it out with a summer cold. Haven't had one of those in years. I do believe they are worse than anything in the dead of winter. I'm better today, shuffling through the house trying to get organized for the warm months ahead.
I watched C.S.I. Miami last night. Funny, I work for a CBS affiliate and have never sit all the way through an episode. C.S.I. is one of the most popular shows on broadcast television (kind of gory). We call Miami "C.S.I. light".

Ok, Wow! We're up! I am trying this "weblog" thing in hopes that I would have somewhere to publish my thoughts and conclusions somewhere besides in my own word processor. I'm a writer by career, but don't do much of it outside of the work zone.
