Trophy Bass

If you have ever heard of "Trophy Bass Secrets", I guess I will tell you that I produce it. I co created it back around 2002 and it's been airing continuously ever since. It's not in Dallas, but it is in Waco and a few other small markets in Texas. It's pretty interesting, hosted by Chuck Justice who has been a lifelong friend of mine. We played the music scene back in the 70's and 80's. He's got some national exposure over the years and is well sought out for seminars, tackle shows and television. The image was snapped after a recent shoot we did for the Tulsa and Oklahoma City markets.

Texas Winter

Texas Winter

It's been icy up where I live. There were a few on the Dallas Morning News posts that were severely complaining because they didn't appreciate the warnings by the local media not coming full circle. It's very hard to predict winter weather on a local city by city basis. I personally applaud the media in DFW for trying to warn people that we had winter weather on the way. After all, we could have gotten the brunt of this storm the way parts of Oklahoma did. Power outages, trees coming down, power lines snapping. Maybe then the complainers would have been happy?

AAC

American Airlines Vid Screens

I had a chance to visit the American Airlines Center to take a look at WFAA's new studios at Victory Center. These are the screens that are being placed at the entrance to the AAC. Those are tracks they are mounted on. I had the luck to see them testing the movement. I thought it was something interesting.

Off the Wall

This is really weird, but then look at me. We were tired of turkey, ham, cheeses, crackers, dumplings from the left over goose, etc. I know that all sounds good and it was. But a week and a half of it makes the palate tired. I picked up a couple of pizzas from Market Street last night. A Portabello, made with that variety of mushroom, artichokes, feta, mozzarella all atop a pesto base, and a Primo. This one is their version of a supreme, made with sausage, Canadian bacon, whole olives, whole pearl onions, mozzarella and other stuff. An incredible crust on both of them made for the best pizza I've tasted anywhere. Even Campizzi's. Market Streets are rare in DFW, but more are on their way. This one in particular is in McKinney. Eat their pizza. Hey, it earned a post.
